Valkyria Revolution Finally Hits PS4 & PS Vita

Valkyria Revolution is scheduled to arrive in America and Europe in spring of 2017. The PS4 version, however, will be available both digitally and physically in all the regions in exception of the PS Vita version which is reported to be only available in the digital verion.

Sega reportedly announced that Valkyria: Azure Revolution will be coming to North America via Sega and to Europe via Deep Silver as Valkyria Revolution sometime in 2017. Valkyria Revolution is also reportedly getting an Xbox One release in the west, in addition to the PS4 and PS Vita release.

Before we dive into a review of the game lets talk a little bit about what the game is all about in this new epic chapter. Valkyria Revolution talks about Jutlands elite soldiers and the Vanargand, who must band together to defeat the Ruzi Empire and stop death itself, the Valkyria. This anti-Valkyria squad is fortified with advanced mana artillery and has the potent ability to wield powerful spells to combat all the formidable threat.

The princess carries the utmost love for her country and has answered the call of duty to unshackle those who are suffering from the Ruzis tyranny. On the other hand, the commanding officer of Vanargand, Amleth Gronkjaer, hides a terrible secret.

Five lifelong friends obsessed with their own personal revenge submerge an entire continent into a dreadful and gruesome war, at the long run sacrificing the lives of countless innocents for a cause which is only based on perverse lies and deception.

This long time friends use their combined political and military experience and strategy to motivate their small homeland to rise up again as a formidable resistance against their imperialist dictators.

As you may already be well aware and especially those who are familiar with the previous version, Valkyria: Azure Revolution, Valkyria Revolution is often described as a revolution from the previous series and universe, is set in alternative timeline in the pre European industrialization era.
